Whilst still a graduate student, Josie assisted Dr Sarah Silveus PhD across research, contributed to development of counselor education - including a mental health assessment and developing counseling skills for working with children.

2025- Present

Josie is dedicated to preparing the next generation of counselors to see the whole person in context, integrating trauma-informed, culturally sensitive care and developmentally adapted approaches for clients across the lifespan.
